- Yes. All election data is required for Ballot Proof sign off. This includes the Ballot file, the registers and the Proxy voter file.
What is needed on the ballot paper proof?
- Ballot Paper proofs must contain a QR code.
- The QR Code must contain the UIM and Ballot Paper Number.
- The QR Code format must be UIM,BallotPaperNumber e.g. MD,005001

- The Ballot Paper needs a QR Code in order to be scanned on the Modern Polling App. This is part of the process of issuing a Ballot Paper to a voter.

- Will Modern Polling work without a ballot QR code.
- We recommend having QR codes on ballot papers. It is quicker than having to manually select the ballot paper number and reduces errors.
I have more than one contest, will ballots in each contest be proofed?
- Modern Democracy will proof 20 Ballot papers across a range of the stations provided.
